As a delegate taking our PRINCE2 Foundation course you will become equipped with the terminology and knowledge about how PRINCE2 works. You will immediately be able to go back to work and speak this new vocabulary and be able to act as an informed member of a project team.

Even if you are an experienced project manager and perhaps have been made redundant or are in between contracts, you can benefit from a PRINCE2 Foundation course. You might have found that not having PRINCE2 on your CV is hindering your job search. That’s where this course will help you.

Although taking a PRINCE2 Foundation course doesn’t qualify you as a registered practitioner, having PRINCE2 Foundation on your CV will instantly increase your chances of employment. Alongside your previous project experience, it shows that you know the PRINCE2 terminology and are capable of working as an informed member of a PRINCE2 project team.

I want to change career and work in project management

You will find that PRINCE2 is widely recognised as an essential starting point when looking for many jobs, not just project management jobs.

Even if you want to make a complete career change you will find that many jobs require project management skills that are transferable. This is true even for project work at university. We have trained beginners who are from unrelated backgrounds such as consultancy, military, merchandising and even nursing who have then gone on to work in project management.

One thing to remember however, is that if you want to work in project management, gaining a full Practitioner qualification is recommended. PRINCE2 Practitioner is a higher level qualification and shows you can apply PRINCE2 to simple projects. In that respect, a more suitable course for you would be the PRINCE2 online Foundation & Practitioner course.
